The José L. Ferrer Crianza 2020 comes from the renowned José L. Ferrer winery and is under the protected designation of origin DO Binissalem. The careful production begins with pre-cooling the grapes to 2 °C to enable gentle maceration before fermentation and to preserve the fruity aromas.

The must then ferments at 26 °C for 15 days before the wine remains on the skins for a total of 21 days. This prolonged contact intensifies the tannin structure and gives the wine additional fullness. Once malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine is transferred to American and French oak barrels where it matures for 12 months. This is followed by blending (ensamblaje) and bottling.

The result is an expressive, harmonious red wine that combines careful cellar technology, Mediterranean influences and the typical variety of grape varieties found in Mallorca. Ideal with hearty meat dishes, mature cheeses or simply for pure enjoyment as an accompaniment to a cosy evening.
